Use on tacos or as a side dish to your favorite grilled favorites.

Llamacita Summer Slaw

SERVES 4

Ingredients

  • green or red cabbage (or both)

  • shredded or julienned carrots (see pickled carrot recipe)

  • cilantro

  • pumpkin seeds

  • Llamacita Yellow or Green Sauce

  • dash of cumin

  • pinch of salt

  • mayo

  • OPTION- Take it an Asian direction with Yellow Sauce by omitting the cumin and adding a little sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, a pinch of salt and sugar. YUM!

Instructions

  • Toss your cabbage with your a pinch of salt and sugar to season and soften slightly.

  • Add other ingredients, toss and enjoy! Best eaten within a few hours but I will eat this for days!
